A Beautiful Day with GOISD

Camp Josh was happy to welcome friends from the Gogebic-Ontonagon ISD (GOISD) for a beautiful day at camp on Thursday, September 17! With sunshine overhead and plenty of fresh U.P. air, the group spent the day enjoying the outdoors, casting a few lines, and making memories together. A few fish even decided to cooperate and make an appearance!

After a morning of fishing and fun, everyone gathered for a pizza lunch. And no Camp Josh outing would be complete without a little something sweet. Tina made a special batch of homemade cutout cookies just for the kids, shaped and frosted to look like bears. They were almost too cute to eat. Almost!

Days like this are what Camp Josh is all about. Getting outside, trying something new, sharing a meal, and creating opportunities for everyone to simply enjoy being together.

Thank you to GOISD for spending the day with us. We loved having you at Camp Josh and hope to see you back again soon!

At Camp Josh, some of the best days are the simple ones: a fishing pole in hand, pizza for lunch, bear cookies for dessert, and plenty of smiles to go around.
